Billy W. Hodge

Billy W. Hodge, 76, of Poplar Grove passed away on April 02, 2023.

Billy was born on July 21, 1946, in McCrory, AR, the son of William and Fannie Mae (Gibson) Hodge. Billy was a 50 year (lifetime) member of Laborers’ Local 1035. He was a member of the Harvard Moose for over 40 years. He loved to garden, enjoyed fishing, and was proud of the house he built for his family.

Billy is survived by his wife Linda Hodge of Poplar Grove, son William (Angie) Hodge of Cameron, WI, and daughter Melissa (Eric) Nead of Kansas City, KS; five grandchildren: Ryan, Tyler, and Katie Hodge, Parker and Owen Nead, a sister, Donna (Jackie) Proctor of Hickory Ridge, AR, brothers-in-law, Mike, Tim, and Carl Pashelk, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents William and Fannie Mae, sisters Thelma, Norma, and Elsie, brother-in-law, Gerald, and his father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Francis Pashelk.

A visitation will be held from 10AM until 11AM service on Fri, April 7, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church, 7100 Harvard Hills Road, Harvard, Illinois 60033. Interment will be in Dunham-Chemung Cemetery, Pagles Road, Harvard, IL 60033.

Memorial donations can be made in Billy’s honor to First Presbyterian Church or Northern IL Hospice.
