Beverly M (Pratt) Van Loon

Beverly Mae (Pratt) Van Loon was born on April 8, 1927, in Trempealeau, Wisconsin. She died in Huntley, IL on November 19, 2018, after a short illness.

She graduated from Trempealeau High School in 1944. She attended vocational school in LaCrosse, WI and worked at the LaCrosse Rubber Mill.

She married Lauren Curtis Van Loon on October 15, 1945, in New Amsterdam, WI. They moved to Harvard, IL in 1949.

Beverly worked for the Harvard School District for 20 years retiring in 1986. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Beverly was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Harvard, IL.

She is survived by three children Keith (Roxanne) Van Loon of Sun Prairie, WI; Barbara (Mark) Dade of Walworth, WI; Jeffrey of Milwaukee; five grandchildren Christopher Van Loon of Darien, WI; Seth Dade of Avon, CO; Ethan (Kari) Dade of Edgerton, WI; Lauren (Robert Rinka) Van Loon of Chicago, IL and Megan Van Loon of Whitefish Bay, WI; two step-grandchildren Michelle (Shawn) Countryman of Anamosa, IA and Justin (Kimberly) Ball of Kansas City, MO; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother William Pratt of LaCrosse, WI.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lauren; parents William and Clara Pratt and a sister Margaret Abrahamson.

Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2018, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Eric Blachford officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Harvard, IL.
