Angeline Karolczak, 84, of Harvard passed away at her home surrounded by family on Friday, June 25, 2021.
She was born December 22, 1936, in Elmhurst, IL to Nicholas and Wilda (VanHoose) Mitros. Angeline worked for Arnold Engineering for 25 years until retirement. Angeline was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, she enjoyed yard work, watching the Chicago White Sox, and spending time with her family.
Her true passion was being a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Angeline married Richard Karolczak on April 11, 1959, at St. Mary’s Church in West Chicago, IL.
Survivors include her spouse of 62 years Richard; children Richard (Jane) Karolczak of Shaker Heights, OH; and Robert (Colleen) Karolczak of Woodstock, IL; five grandchildren Alison, Matthew, Nicholas, Alexander “A.J”, and Spencer Karolczak.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother George Mitros.
Visitation will be from 10-12 noon Friday, July 2, 2021, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 206 E. Front St. Harvard, IL 60033. Inurnment will be at a later date in River Valley Memorial Gardens.
