Allen B. Stone

Allen B. Stone, 89, of Harvard, IL passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at JourneyCare in Barrington, IL.

Allen was born February 18, 1935 to Hjalmer and Lena (Rebl) Stone in Chicago, IL.  He married Phyllis Rozny on April 20, 1957 in Rock Island, IL.  Allen was in the US Army, and a member of the Harvard Presbyterian Church and Holiday Ramblers RV Club.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Stone of Harvard, IL; children Brad A. (Kendill L.) Stone of Barrington, IL and Bruce S. (Susan J. Horton, DVM) Stone of Mount Prospect, IL; and grandchildren Amanda (Joseph) Massaro of Palatine, IL, Wade Stone of Wauconda, IL, and Carly (Jared) Wiley of Cary, IL.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents Hjalmer and Lena Stone and his brother Glenn Stone.

The visitation will be held from 10AM until the 11AM funeral service on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033. Interment will be at 2 PM in Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
