William M. Caulfield Jr., 89, of Harvard; passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018, at the Harvard Care Center.
He was born September 6, 1929, to William and Eleanor (Eckebrecht) Caulfield Sr. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
William married Flora Ann Hohmann on April 28, 1951, in Chicago, IL. He worked as a mechanic for many years until retirement. Bill loved to tinker around, repair things in his garage, play cards, and pull pranks on others. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Survivors include his wife Flora; children Debra (Keith) Muench of Kingston, IL; Robin (Rick) Strauss of Harvard, and Cheryl (Gary) Rathmann of Woodstock; four grandchildren Nicole (Keith) Sphar, Lindsey, Troy and Trevor; two great-grandchildren Emaleigh and Chase Sphar; and his furry companion Missy.
Per Bill’s wishes, he will be cremated.
