Matthew Beigh Obituary

Matthew Ross Beigh, 46, of Harvard passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Mercy Harvard Hospital.

He was born January 28, 1973, in Madison, WI to Mark Alan Schuring and Karen (Licht) Beigh.

Matthew is survived by his parents Dorn and Karen (Licht) Beigh, daughter Kaitlyn Marie Beigh, Machesney Park, IL; brother Mark Anthony Beigh, Galesburg, IL; sister Raven (Schuring) Gosset, Byron, IL, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Mark Alan Schuring, grandparents Anthony and Betty Sue (McGraw) Licht, Arthur Martin, and Lola (Buhrows) Schuring , and grandparents by adoption, Norman and Myriam (Small) Beigh, cousins Kristina Lorraine Beigh and Dylan Patrick Macuk.

Matthew loved his daughter, his “other brother” Roy, Harley motorcycles, camping, fishing, woodworking, and cooking. He was a funny, kind, generous, loving man and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Matt wished to be cremated, with no service and no memorials. Remember him in your hearts only.
