Loretta M. (Arens) Truax

Loretta M. Truax, 78, of Williams Bay, WI; formerly of Harvard, IL passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2019, at the Williams Bay Care Center, Williams Bay, WI.

She was born February 1, 1941, in Palatine, IL; the daughter of the late Herman and Bertha (Berlin) Arens. Loretta worked for Rich Co., Plastics for many years.

On June 28, 1975, Loretta married Thomas James Truax in Harvard, IL. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1994.

Survivors include her daughters Pamela (Scott) Souchek, Ann (Tony) Wagner; grandchildren Andy and Amanda Wagner and Thomas Souchek. Andy and his wife Crystal have a 5-year-old daughter named Emma, which was Loretta's great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and spouse.

Loretta's husband, Thomas, had two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Eric Blachford officiating. Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, IL.

Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and needlepoint. She was an avid collector of anything animal-related. She loved her crossword puzzles and word searches. She was a member of the Harvard Moose Lodge for over 40 years.
