Lawrence Carlson Jr. Obituary

Lawrence A. Carlson, Jr., 71, of Harvard passed away at his residence on Monday, January 7, 2019.

He was born April 25, 1947, in Harvard, IL the son of the late Lawrence A. and Mary (Beffort) Carlson Sr. Larry was a member of the Moose Lodge and Fox Valley Laborers union and worked as a laborer for many years. He enjoyed riding and fixing up motorcycles, garage visits from friends near and far, Old Style; but most of all he loved his grandchildren. Larry will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, Uncle Cow and loyal friend.

Survivors include his children Ryan (Becca) Carlson of Lake Zurich; and Camille (Rick) Clemons of Fox River Grove; four grandchildren (Mia, Flynn, Caroline & Ben); and his close friends and neighbors Duck and Sue Finke, Grump and Linda Lindberg, and Jeff and Brenda Klein.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Jim Carlson and Judy Pollett.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home. There will be a Celebration of Life immediately following at the Harvard Moose Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Americans with Disabilities.
