Kenia Acosta, 26, of Capron, died on Friday, July 13, 2018, at her residence.

She was born July 3, 1992, in King City, CA. The daughter of Guillermo Alonzo and Celia Acosta.

Kenia was a loving, hardworking mother. She took on the role of father and mother for her amazing children. She loved teaching and was working towards her dream of becoming a teacher.

Survivors include her mother Celia, children Juan Miguel, Silviano, and Genesis; siblings Alejandra Cerda Acosta and Joana Acosta. 

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033.

Nació el 3 de julio de 1992 en King City, California. La hija de Guillermo Alonzo y Celia Acosta.

Kenia era una madre amorosa y trabajadora. Ella asumió el papel de padre y madre por sus increíbles hijos. Le encantaba enseñar y estaba trabajando para cumplir su sueño de convertirse en maestra.
