Dorothy Ellen (Aubrecht) Conley

Dorothy Ellen Conley, 98, of Harvard passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018, in Crystal Lake, IL.

She was born March 23, 1920, in Lone Tree, Iowa; the daughter of the late Joseph and Carolyn (Glasbey) Aubrecht. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, traveling, animals and flowers. Her true passion was her family and children. Dorothy touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all. She will be remembered for her kindness to family and friends, and her pies.

Dorothy married George Conley on October 18, 1941, in Kohoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1956.

Survivors include her children Susan (Scott) Hanson, Ellen (Terry) Roe, Edward (Pamela) Conley, and George (Karen Young) Conley; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings Alice Aubrecht and Walter Aubrecht.

Visitation will be held from 10-12 noon on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon. Interment will be in Dunham-Chemung Cemetery, Harvard, IL.
