Delores R. Scharon

Belvidere – Delores R. Scharon, 70, of Belvidere formerly of Harvard, died Wed., Nov. 21, 2018 at Swedish American Medical Center in Belvidere. She was born December 6, 1947, in Chicago to Louis and Virginia (Foster) Costello. On July 20, 1968, she married Ronald Scharon, Sr in Addison, IL.

Delores had worked for Chicago Trophy and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Harvard. She enjoyed needlepoint.

Survivors include her husband Ronald of Belvidere; a son, Ronald ( Rebecca) Scharon, Jr of Rockford; a sister, June (Arthur) Briggs of McHenry; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Rose Bock.

The visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday, Nov. 27 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1601 Garfield Rd. Harvard, IL and continue from 10 am Wednesday, Nov. 28 until the 11 am funeral service at the church. Rev. Steven Sward will officiate.
