Claudette (Blazer) Andersen

Claudette Andersen, 62, of Harvard passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018, at Mercy Health Hospital Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL.

She was born October 16, 1956, in Harvard, IL; to Raymond L. and Katherine “Kay” (Mattison) Blazer Sr. Claudette was someone that enjoyed life and being with friends and family. She was full of energy and loved to laugh. Claudette was generous and loving to all, and her passion in life was her horse Kayray. She enjoyed teaching countless children how to ride. Claudette was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church, Harvard, IL.

Claudette married Steven Andersen on August 11, 1990, in Harvard, IL.

Survivors include her husband Steven; son Charles (Lora) Blazer; two grandchildren Cole, and Tyler Blazer; siblings Linda Corman of Yuma, AZ, Raymond (Karen) Blazer Jr., of Harvard, and Henry (Cindy) Blazer of Darien, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Lonna Larson.

Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2018, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Harvard.
