Charles Thomas Bark, 70, of Marengo, died Sunday, Nov. 11 in Missouri.
Charles was born Feb. 27, 1948, to Ralph and Irene (Devert) Bark in Harvey, IL. He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Charles owned and operated Fox Valley Supply in South Elgin. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Rockford American Legion, the Batavia Moose Lodge, and a member of the NRA.
He is survived by his brother David (Deborah) Bark of Pecatonica, IL, sisters Ruth (Brian) Carus of Spring Grove, IL, and Lisa (John) Bakunowicz of McFarland, WI. Significant other Cherie Herring of Ingleside, IL, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Robert and George Bark.
Visitation from 10 AM until 2 PM with service following on Sat., Nov. 17 at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to The American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or Alzheimer’s Association.
