Bernadine Wright Obituary

Bernadine M. Wright, 98, of Darien, WI formerly of Harvard; passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018, at her residence.

She was born June 10, 1920, in Colfax, IL to William C. and Viola Mae (Engelhart) Jones. She married Frank William Wright on June 27, 1943, in Harvard, IL. He preceded her in death on December 2, 1987.

She had worked for Lanning Bag, Jerry Powers Cleaners and Laundry, Mechtronics, and Admiral Corp in Harvard. She was a member of the Alden United Methodist Church, Alden Community Club, Harvard Women of the Moose, Moose Golden Agers, and the Harvard Senior Center.

Survivors include her granddaughter Adrienne Wright of Darien, WI; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; son Kenneth Wright; brother Boyd Jones; and sisters Phyllis Greenlee and Lola Krause.

Per Bernadine’s wishes, she will be cremated and burial will take place at Mt. Auburn Cemetery at a later date.
